Finding the problem

I thought for many years I had IBS (diarreah/constipation). I had this for over 10 years. Finally a year ago I found out I was lactose intolerant. The diarreah went away. Last year I found out I have an underactive thyroid. I am now on medicine to fix the thyroid problem (at 7 weeks right now). The constipation has gone away. If you haven't checked into this, please do. An overactive thyroid causes diarreah, and underactive thyroid causes constipation.

Life

In general, life has been good. I have been trying to tell myself that I can work; it just hasn't worked out that way yet.
I never know when I will need to use the bathroom; whether it be because of something I ate or otherwise, but I just hate that I have to know where the bathrooms are.

I just want one good day where I don't have to go; but then with me being on steroids because of asthma; it sucks.

Life in general is good.

I felt like I had the flu but I was also only like 9 and didn't know the difference yet. I thank God everyday for giving me the teacher I had during fourth grade. She was my advocate and made sure I was given the help I needed while in school. I was poked and prodded so many times in just one year. I had an upper GI test, glucose toleran… Continue

Fiber
