I currently stay at home with my 2 boys ( aged 3 and 9 months ) and I go to University full time. I'm hoping to achieve a Masters is Counseling one day.

How long have you lived with IBS?

I was probably born with it. I've had severe C until a brush with The Morning After Pill at 18. Then it was mild IBS D. After suspected food poisoning in February 2005, I've had severe IBS D with weight loss since. I was stable in Dec 2007 and was knocked off my perch by a Tummy Flu....now I have D all the time and am housebound.

When did you realize you had IBS?

1998???

Most embarassing IBS moment:

I had an accident in a public park while taking a walk mid day with my baby. I had to leave the stroller on the side of the path and finish my "accident" down a small embankment, in plain sight. Thank goodness for baby wipes! I will never forget that day.

How do you do treat your IBS?

Usually by following the Eating For IBS rules, Doing the IBS 100 hypnosis ( fabulous ) and some actively smart food/stress choices.
