Hi! I was just diagnosed two days ago with IBS and I'll take all the help I can get! I'm a high school junior, and really involved in school activities. Music classes are my favorite subject. I'm in band and choir and enjoy both very much. If you want to know anything...just ask!

What do you do for fun?

I like to be outdoors. It helps that I live right next to the Wind River Mountains...which are gorgeous! When I'm not hiking around outside I'm practicing one of five different musical instruments or singing.

How long have you lived with IBS?

I was diagnosed a few days ago, but have had pretty bad symptoms since the beginning of the summer.

When did you realize you had IBS?

A few days ago!

Most embarassing IBS moment:

Any time I have diarrhea at someone's house...

How do you do treat your IBS?

Low carb diets help, but that's about all I've come up with so far. I also take probiotics...but I'm not sure if they're effective yet.
