I'm currently switching jobs and one of the things that worries me is how I'm going to deal with IBS there. I know how to cope where I am now. I think I'll be OK though.
I only work part time and most of the time I work 4 hour shifts. I do sometimes wonder how I'll cope with full time work.
I just have to deal with it the best I can. Try and get someone else to do the till shift so if need be I can get a bathroom quickly.
It can be so hard sometimes. I've not felt good for the last couple of days and I've been working a till all day so the worry it was going to flare up wasn't good. I've been invited to a bbq but my 1st instinct is no so I've offered to look after my…

raj said… - hey dude ..after all i have found something that works fr me...i will also recommend u......try "asafoetida"..which is available as a condiment...i hope u would have heard about this...take a pinch of it after each meal it works..n along with that also try a yoga asan..thats.."wind relieving "pose...also called as pavan muktansa...it will make u free frm excessive gas n bloating......i have not got so much relief in my past two years which i got in three days trying this......

- hiii.. thanks for responding....problem in my case is that i m having pain as predominant symptom.....stool frequency is not so disturbed however consistency is loose.....a m having a constant ache just below my left rib at the splenic flexure region...sometimes pain reaches lower left abdomen....right nw i m taking mebeverine....it just relive pain about 20% that also for an hour or two...n again the pain is back...i m also taking amitryptyline..as prescribed by my doctor n i have myself read frm my harrison textbook of medicine that they r found to be helpful..however i have not got ne significant relief..u can also try it...have u tried mebeverine????is ur pain also continous n burning type?i m having pain continously fr 8 months n it has ruined my life......

- hiiii...illyria....i m raj....i m suffering frm ibs frm last two years....earlier it eas episodic..it use to come n go..but nw i have constant ache frm last 8 months with a best level which is also distressing....can u suggest me something of ur experience...about diet, medicine or ne thing..i will be grateful to u..thanks
